Let me fangirl about Jean Dujardins a moment.

Saw The Artist this past week. Got to cheer on a film that, in this day and age, dares not only to be B&W but also silent. A real hommage to the old cinema. Lets the music shine and makes you pay attention to the work of the actors.

I haven’t seen all of Dujardins’ work, but I remember seeing his Brice De Nice sketches a few years ago. Next was OSS 117, which I saw the premiere in Montreal, and he was present to introduce it! *fangirl moment*.

The Lucky Luke film (based on the comic of the same name) has its flaws, but it also has some really fun and creative camera work and images.

I need to see more of his films!
