“My Family And The Wolf” teaser
An Absolutely GORGEOUS looking European production, another one that I hope will reach the North American shores (unlike Nocturna). The visual look for the 2D is wonderful, and the animation really great.
LUCHA!
Best 28 seconds of this Friday.
Another, different Korra trailer.
Now with more Amon.
(Sorry Mr. Narrator, I’d prefer if you’d stay quiet…)
Hotel Transylvania
A bit more info on this animated movie, opening Sept. 28.

The Long Way North- trailer
A while ago, I posted a few artwork about this upcoming animated film. Now they have a trailer out. Enjoy!
(I’m not a fan of the choice of music for the second half, but it nevertheless looks gorgeous).
Toshiyuki Inoue.
Augh! So much personality in these animations. That little bounce in the walk, with a subtle head tilt back and forth. That run is just a great child’s run, different from how you’d make a grown up move. And the middle one, standing against the wind.
That’s what great animators do: put in a lot of those subtleties and thoughts, making the character shine through.

New Paranorman trailer
This past week saw the debut of the Frankenweenie trailer, now Paranorman striked back with another, awesome looking trailer for their upcoming films. Set to be released in August, this is another wonderful stop motion movie from studio Laika (Coraline).
A week ago I posted an illustration by Evon Freeman, who was part of the first year of Nickelodeon’s artist fellowship program. It is a six-month paid internship thingy… I think it is a great idea, as we love to foster new talent in the industry. Believe it or not, it is hard to find enough…
Get your portfolios ready, people!! Seize the opportunity!
